Media Advisory: UFest 2024 Official Kickoff Announcement

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, representatives of UFest, Edmonton’s Ukrainian Festival, Presented by Servus Credit Union, will announce this year’s festival’s entertainment lineup, Guest Cultural Community, and charitable partner.  Media are invited to attend to get an overview of this year’s festival which will be held May 24 -25, 2024 at Borden Park.

Joining the media event will be: 

• Councillor Ashley Salvador, City Councillor
• Member of the Legislative Assembly, Janis Irwin
• Servus Credit Union, Senior Vice President Head of Banking,
  Rajesh Ramakrishnan (Festival Presenting Sponsor)
• Live music will be provided by the Broken Banjos – Dancers turned musicians – a group of former Cheremosh & Shumka alumni join together to play traditional Ukrainian folk songs on the Tsymbaly, Bandura, Mandolin, Bayan, Bubon & Sopilka
